Pulmonary Function Testing

Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. DO NOT SMOKE on the day of the test. DO NOT take inhalers or lung treatments 4 HOURS before the test. Example: Albuterol, Proventil, Ventolin, Maxair, Atrovent and Combivent. Do not take long-acting inhalers 12 HOURS before the test. Example: Advair, Serevent,Flovent,Foradll,Q Var. Ask if you are unsure. Bring a written list of your medications. If these directions are not followed, you will not be allowed to take the test.Also, for safety reasons, children will be not be allowed in the testing area for safety reasons.
